Our Wildflower & Oats bar of soap is a celebration of summer! Notes of rose geranium, lavender and litsea cubeba essential oils uplift the pink clay, calendula petals and oats in a gloriously scrubby bar that's great for all-over use.

All of our soaps have been certified by an independent scientist. NOTHING ARTIFICIAL: NO preservatives, additives, fragrances, parabens, SLS. ONLY THE GOOD STUFF: vitamin-rich avocado oil, moisturising shea butter, cleansing castor oil, vitamin-rich olive oil. restorative coconut oil and Vitamin-E packed responsibly-sourced palm oil, litsea cubeba essential oil, lavender essential oil, rose geranium essential oil, pink clay, calendula petals and oats. Our ingredients are all-natural, ethically-sourced and vegan. Because each traditional soap bar is made entirely by hand, soap colour and shape vary slightly from bar to bar. They are completely natural: traditionally made, rough cut, cured for six weeks or more, and hand packaged in brown paper to order.

About Bean & Boy

Bean and Boy is a family-run business making sustainable, vegan soap by hand in Southend-on-Sea, UK. We started making soap for our family when our daughter developed a mild form of eczema that was made worse by commercially-produced soaps and washes. We spent months researching, and tried out loads of different recipes and combinations to find the ones that work for our daughter’s skin – and for us too. We settled on a combination of high quality ingredients, unfussy essential oil blends, and a slow soap-making process that is as close to the ancient traditional methods as possible.

There’s nothing else added: no preservatives, no colourants, no fragrances and no additional heat to speed things up. The best things take time, and proper soap is worth waiting for. Since then we’ve had our soap recipes certified and we have introduced new combinations specifically targeted at problematic skin and household application. We’ve grown out of our kitchen and now make soap in our little workshop on a nearby farm, but we still ensure that each batch is carefully made by hand using the traditional cold process method and the finest natural ingredients. We don’t add anything to speed up the process, and we keep things as natural as possible. Each batch is given the full six weeks to cure before we share them with you.
